Bournemouth
Out: Araujo, Evanilson, Senesi, Smith, Unal
Doubts: Hill, Soler

Wolves
Out: Hwang
Doubts: Agbadou, Johnstone, Rodrigo, Larsen

A tough game so I'd be starting Munetsi as a second No.10 to drop back and help out in CM without the ball. Hopefully Djiga is ready to start if Agbadou is out

.......................... Sa

........ Doherty - Djiga - Toti

Semedo - Andre - Gomes - RAN

............. Munetsi - Cunha

....................... Larsen

That's the 11 I'd go with. Bournemouth are quick and direct, so Munetsi would be a good option. The rest of the team picks itself. I assume JSL will be ready to go from the start.

Anyone know what time Vitor's presser is at today?

Out for “some games” suggests Agba likely missing the next four league games? Such a bitter blow.

Pereira clearly likes Munetsi . He upsets defences and causes panic . He might well start .

I’d go with that team - only I’d start JRB over Munetsi.

Marshall can do his puppy-dog-chasing-a-balloon act at the end when we’re throwing the subs bench into the box.

I was feeling fairly confident of picking up a decent points haul and progressing in the cup going into B'mouth, Fulham, B'mouth (FAC), Everton, Saints, WHU.

If Agba is out and Bueno is picked over Djiga (no idea if he's any good or not but at least he's not Bueno) then that's a real leveller. It shows how lopsided, threadbare and unprepared for a Premier League season this squad was that losing one player can have that affect.

I felt we defended differently when Bueno came on for Agbadou at Liverpool. Bueno was going man-to-man and much higher up the pitch than Agbadou did.

Don't like the idea of that against Bournemouth (even though it worked last week), so would prefer Djiga but expect Bueno to start.

I'd be happy with starting how we finished at Anfield, and giving Larsen the last half hour.

If Sarabia and Guedes are going to be any use, I reckon they'd be better later on when there may be more space and it's not as intense.

If Djiga has not played a minute thus far , then he won't be playing tomorrow .

If Santi starts then every single person that was involved in the signing of Djiga should be sacked. We didn't need a new fifth choice centre half for £10m.
I imagine he's the long term replacement for Doc, Agbo in the centre and Toti at LCB.

If Doc had got injured he'd be straight in.

I have no idea about Djiga but I'd hope that if he loses a duel 40+ yards from goal, he isn't subsequently completely out of the game like the Skip Twins Doherty and Bueno. I've recovered from flu quicker than they get back into any kind of useful position.

All moot though if he isn't going to play.

Any time we start BOTH of those pair then I cannot back us.

You comprehend the difference though? It may be completely irrelevant that he played in a competition simply because his then club were a big fish in a small pond, but it is absolutely essential that we signed someone who could contribute immediately relative to Doc or Bueno. That’s all he’s got to be better than, as it’s literally the level we need to improve on.
