Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

The committee appears to be mounting a case that, despite the absence of any evidence of warnings or advice, it should have been “obvious” to me that the rules and guidance were not being followed, because of the gatherings that I attended. It is important to be frank: this amounts to an allegation that I deliberately lied to Parliament.
But it is also an allegation that extends to many others. If it was “obvious” to me that the rules and guidance were not being followed, it would have been equally obvious to dozens of others who also attended the gatherings I did. The vast majority of individuals who have given evidence to the committee and the Cabinet Office investigation have not indicated that they considered that their attendance at the events contravened the rules or the guidance.

If you get caught driving at 90mph on the M6 and fined then you cannot have a defence of "the bloke in front was doing it too", you stupid thick bastard.

Imagine actually handing this pile of shit over.

It was also delayed not because the Committee were sitting on it, but because the original sent yesterday was full of typos and errors. Sloppy as fuck.

Fucking hell, that's chore of a read. Basic points:

I only got a FPN for one event, and while I accept the police's decision I also disagree with it
Because I only got one FPN, it's reasonable to assume that I knew nothing of any of the other rule breaking
Downing Street is really small so people couldn't socially distance, but also so big that I couldn't hear parties going on
People told me everything was fine and that's why I said everything was fine
The press team were working while they had cheese, wine and Christmas presents
The earliest I could correct the record was the day the SG report came out
Even though if I could technically see gatherings, I wasn't paying attention
If we thought we were breaking the rules, why would we photograph them

There's obviously a million references to working day and night, 18 hour days, drinks were fine to keep morale up, I was never anywhere for more than half an hour, everybody thought everything was fine, and as I only got one fine for reasons I disagree with, that's proof that I didn't see anything that wasn't fine. Oh and the scope of the investigation should be limited to denials of rule breaking, not guidance. I can also remember, very specifically, conversations that support my ignorance, but anything contentious 'may or may not have been said, I can't remember it being said and don't think it was', and Cummings hates me so you're not allowed to believe him

£250,000 for that

Cummings is going to post his thoughts in real-time during Johnson's hearing tomorrow...

I saw absolutely no-one socially between around 7 March 2020 and 7 June 2020, because those were the rules and for ages they made no allowances for people who lived alone (I hadn't met Mrs DW at this point, so I was just on my own, every day, doing nothing).

I have bipolar disorder, so that was a barrel of laughs. So much so that the paramedics ended up coming to my house towards the end of that spell as enough people who know me had voiced concern about my welfare based on what I was saying privately. That was a cheery couple of hours chat.

I still followed the rules.

This awful twat couldn't be bothered and laughed about it.

And I'm not anywhere near the top of the tree in terms of people who were adversely impacted by the rules.

Fuck going in to bat for him. He is a wanker, a wanker with zero political future at that, I have no idea why Tory shills do it.

I see the stupid fat fuck has picked today to declare he is voting against Sunaks NI bill. Shambling shower of irrelevance still thinks he runs the joint. Hopefully Rish! takes the Whip off the cunt.

Just a distraction tactic from his weasels.

He wants everybody talking about something else rather than his trial.

Enjoying his homage to the 1970's Porridge movie where Fletcher is in charge of the prison football team (either that or he's the worlds shittest cat burglar).

Fucking pricks

All pretty obvious stuff but the Privileges Committee are rebuffing Johnson claims that he wasn't told that gatherings were against the rules with what Johnson himself was telling the nation in his press conferences on similar dates.

After his suggestion he was given reassurances the rules/guidance was followed, & & 50 pages of throwing advisers under a bus, it surprisingly seems thar wasn't the advice they gave him!
Special mention to Simon case, showing himself to be a very special kind of cunt, who basically said or wrote "no" in response to every question asked of him.
