Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

You realise he is leader of the opposition right?

He is paid to have an opinion, he was voted into that role to have an opinion, to oppose what the Tories are doing, he is paid to tell us what he would do if he was in power, and what his opinion is on what the current/likely incumbents are doing?

I worry for you (and all of us if this is a generally agreed with) if you think him having no opinion on Truss wanting to erode workers rights is a vote winner.

Of course he will have an opinion, she's not even the tory leader yet - plenty of time for the Labour Party to focus on her when she is.

If you're expecting Starmer to come out and publicly share his opinion on every Conservative comment he doesn't agree with then he's not going to have much time for anything else is he?

No I'd like him to maybe speak up on the important ones!?

And this isn't just a comment, it's a "policy" Truss is saying she will bring in within 30 days.

I've seen this image, so you all can as well. Enjoy your dreams tonight

Starmer has sacked his shadow transport minister for joining the picket.

I guess a few of you will make excuses for this now too.

Ah, ok. I need to catch with all the things I’ve said nothing about which I clearly support.

Actions speak louder than words and Starmer has just spoken…sacked shadow cabinet member for attending a picket line.

Sam Tarry is a piece of work. Was already up for deselection as a result.

Plus if the party leader says "don't join picket lines", you probably shouldn't do that if you want to keep your job.

Oh and he didn't have the Shadow Cabinet job that he claimed he did.

This should be the biggest question.

This is a Labour party leader who isn't supporting justified striking workers?

How are people just "meh" about that?
You can hope for better pay/conditions without physically standing on a picket line. It isn't 1982.

As Labour aren't in power and haven't been since 2010 I'm not sure what they can do right now.

Maybe change Part A, might be an idea?
Alienating around 6.5 million people who are in unions who you would imagine the majority of which vote Labour seems like an astonishingly shit way of winning an election to me.

Go on then. Please tell me what, in 2022, is to be gained by a Labour MP joining a picket line, when they are in Opposition?

He's jumped before he was pushed. Amazingly enough before his deselection came up he had nothing at all to do with strike action, anywhere, ever.

I support the rail workers FWIW. But I'm not a Labour MP.

They lost one by absolutely fucking miles in 2019 because the public were spooked into thinking your Comrade was going to take us back to the 1970s.

Probably not a great idea to indulge in 1970s tactics in that case.
