He may quietly go 'Oh shit!' when he sees my three gigging guitars.
And also my final Les Paul. A 1976 all-original LP Deluxe. Only 4 lefty Deluxes were built that year:
It's a lefty 1970 SG Standard with the batwing scratchplate and lyre vibrola into a 100w Marshall 1959 head (Plexi) into 1960 and 1960 B 4x12 cabs. The size of the night clubs we played in at the time was such that something like a Vox AC30 simply wouldn't do the job - the only combo that would...
I'm back. Not much going on on the aviation Facebook pages (apart from a couple of newbies posting off-topic posts that I had to delete as Admin), and all quiet on the guitar forums.
So, here's your starter for 10.
Me aged 20. Photo taken February 1971. Name the guitar and amp (kudos if you...
I think we will see BIG bids going in for that lad in the summer.
A product of Norwich City, and I think Cantwell from there wil improve into a very good top flight player as well. Whatever happens to Norwich in this now strange season, I think bigger clubs will be after him in the summer.
Thanks.
Only been to Molyneux once. 1966. FA Cup 6th Round second replay against Man City. Left school at 4 in my school uniform. Into Liverpool city centre on the bus. Football special train out of Liverpool Lime Street. In the Everton end terracing at Molyneux to see us win 2-0...
There is cautious optimism that Ancelotti will begin to turn things around in the summer. But he has to unload the deadwood, and get the signing right in key positions.
What Wolves did was brilliant. Brought in a Manager who no one knew about. Brought in players that other clubs had...
The Liverpool side was quite nifty then, as well. Bruce in goal, Hansen & Lawrenson central defence. Rush & Dalgleish up front. Used to see some tasy derbies back then. Rush was the coolest goal-scoring machine I had seen since Jimmy Greaves. Never seemed to show any nerves - just...
Thank you.
I'm quite happy for members here to say Everton in recent seasons have been gash, because we have. 72 points under Martinez has been the high point, and Moyes getting us into the Champions League stages is all that we can claim in recent decades.
All I was saying, and that can be...
No it's not, it's placing things in context.
For example, do you really think this Liverpool team is the equal of Ferguson's Man Utd? Really?
Or Wenger's Arsenal in their peak YEARS?
I'm trying to engage in a reasonable conversation, but it is beginning to appear that some just want to argue...
I think you'll beat us. If you do, then I hope it will consolidate your top-end position and hopefully get you into the top 4. That would REALLY upset Sky and the favouritism they show to some teams, whereas the performances of yourselves and Leicester this season has largely gone un-noticed.
The person who was being disrespectful was Klopp. Go read or listen to what he said about Athletico. The guy is fine when they are winning, but he turns nasty when things go against him.
As for Klopps team being one of the best the country has ever seen. Well I must say I disagree with you...
On the Everton forum I am on, we treat supporters of other forums who post reasonably with respect, and enter into discussion with them on a regular basis. 'Yid4life' (Spurs) & AlanWhittle (Palace) being two examples.
I sincerely hope you and your post are not indicative of all Wolves fans who...
You may have thought I was joking:

I think it's in very poor taste that Klippety took a swipe at Atletico and their style of play. Particularly since their defence was dismembered three times. First goal, yeah, an initial goalkeeper mistake, but where were their defenders to close the AM attackers down?
