Don't think Doherty deserves to be dropped for someone who's not played in about two...
We'd get absolutely slaughtered by anyone half-decent with that kind of team. We tried playing with an attack minded line-up against Derby, and we had to give up on it within about twenty minutes.
I was genuinely excited about the thought of my Titans moving off the bottom of AFC South this season up until the start of the Third Quarter last night. Then the usual crushing reality set in.
I think it's unfair to pin the blame on Kenny for the state of the squad when we've not been able to sign anyone for the last month, to be honest. If there would have been no takeover, there would have been more signings than Andy Lonergan, and we wouldn't have ended up with the team we were...
I was furious when it got announced yesterday morning...
.... I still don't get it today, to be honest.
There's a general consensus given his overall record that he'll just be here as a stopgap measure. If he is, why not just use Jackett as a stop-gap? He knows the division, which Zenga...
Really good article. Pointed out all of Kenny's shortcomings, yet still acknowledged that he was a success at the club, and that history will judge him kindly. If you read Twitter or Molineux Mix, you'd think from the tone of jubilation that we'd just sacked Pol Pot.
I agree that he doesn't hold the club to account enough, but I suppose that even if he did, Moxey/Thelwell/Jackett would just flatbat anything particularly negative, so we're not really missing out on anything in the first place.
You'd need Woodward and Bernstein levels of reporting to get...
I'd expect Norwich to be in the mix throughout the season as well, as long as they don't do anything stupid like sack Alex Neil.
Judging by Sheji Ojo, that may not be a good thing
Think the best one we've had recently was the one we had when we got relegated from the Championship under Saunders. I put mine on the other day for the first time in ages, and I remembered that I bloody love it.
It's so shitblisteringly similar to Hull's kit that I can't even imagine us wearing it.
At least the away kit can't possibly any worse, even if it is lime green.
I agree about Saville. He's come back and looked genuinely useful, and is still inexperienced at Championship level. He's sure to improve, in my eyes, and when he does he'll become a good midfielder in this division.
