Have followed and enjoyed this thread but when asking about heroes of the 70's and who should have played for England but didn't no-one seems to have mentioned Mike Bailey!
I watched it from about 15 mins in saw both first half goals soton equalised on the stroke of half time, they were murdering us. Stopped watching as then as I could see what as going to happen.
That question surely doesn't need an answer. Even if by some miracle we had stayed up. The Warnock option was a non starter. Ok I swallowed the bait :surrender:
Its an 0870 number I think. Its 13p a minute from a landline plus whatever your mobile company adds on. I'm an old guy I still use a landline for calls to these types of numbers 0845-0870 etc.
Yes I saw that screen but it said next day delivery £15 and standard delivery £8. That was when I last looked. Its still extortionate. I will check again.
Am pretty annoyed with trying to use the Megastore on line. Living in Nantwich I can't get to visit the store in normal hours. Was looking at the on-line site ad I wanted to purchase a beanie hat cost £8-£10 from the store was intending to purchase one in time for next Wednesday. Went through...
I do think Stan Cullis had run his course at Wolves when he was sacked. He was never successful at Bham City and with the abolition of the Maximum wage his style of Management (by fear) had run its course
Being an old codger who sits in the Billy Quiet I am amused by the "wanky wanky wanderers" song. Its a piss take on all the times that the opposing fans always used to sing it" They dont sing it any more, because we do and that has stopped them. The last line of the Ivan Cavaleiro song should...
I actually quite enjoyed it. I can see its not everyones cup of tea but it was worth a read. Certainly nothing like as good as that produced by Deutsch but its quite different.
I remember thinking that we had got quite a good deal when we sold him for £100,000, which I was thinking was a record for someone of that age at the time. Of course he was part of the Liverpool side that beat us 6-0 at Molineux a few weeks later, scoring twice I think.
Way back in 1960 there was a young exciting striker Ted Farmer whose career was ended by injury at a very early age. His career ending injury in 1961-1962 coincided with Wolves decline at that time. The club was never as dominant again as then.
Apologies Langers. I just watched the whole Norwich game and thought that Bonatini is THE vital part of our team at the moment and demonstrates it in virtually every game that he is involved.
Have to admire your persistence Cyberman. You have proved your point. I would have admired your persistence in the face of fire. I never look on the OT Forum but if you are a Ukipper and Brexiteer you just lost any kudos you might have had.:headbang:
