    Leo Bonatini

Yup, Leo has lose everything that made him so good at the start of the season. There's no room for sentiment in this new Wolves either so I'm not sure we'll see him again this year, certainly not next.

    Cardiff 0 - 1 Wolves: The Verdict

Don't think we deserved to win that tbh. But I am not complaining. Exceptional defending for 90 minutes. Then what the fuck Cav and Coady thought they were doing I have no idea. Got away with it, big time. We were much more dangerous with even just Costa on the pitch. Did Nuno get it wrong, or...

    Cardiff Away Build Up Thread

Afobe's been involved quite a lot. He's not been amazing but he's getting himself on the ball. His link up has been the best out of the front three tbh, even if most of it has been too deep.

    Cardiff Away Build Up Thread

Front three proving to probably not be the right call. Cav for Leo at half time for me. Coady's passing has also been unusually slack today. Long cross fields not coming off and has passed it away a couple of times trying to keep it short. Defended fairly solidly though. Just Doherty switching...

    Cardiff Away Build Up Thread

Seems a strange time to suddenly try a new formation? But Nuno knows football better than me so let's see how this goes. I'm excited and nervous.

    Cardiff Away Build Up Thread

Hmmm not convinced by the thought of Afobe wide (I assume). Let's see what Nuno has in mind.

    Cardiff Away Build Up Thread

Think it'd be arrogant to expect anything other than a very close game. If we play to our strengths though, we should win. Think the first goal will be absolutely crucial.

Wolves 2-2 Hull - Verdict Thread.

We'll return to the team that started against Boro, unless Jota starts over Afobe. I have a feeling for a 1-1 draw. We need to beware of allowing Zohore to isolate Coady too often and Ruddy needs to improve his recent efforts at claiming high balls. That said, we should cause all sorts of...

Wolves 2-2 Hull - Verdict Thread.

I think we found out tonight how lucky we have been that Doherty had played every game so far. He's not world beater but simple fact is he can play that position better than everyone else. The fact that Nuno kept changing the wing back tells me that he couldn't find a solution without Matt (I...

    Hull (H) 3/4 Build-up thread

I'd start Phil as we need some attacking threat from the wing back. After he's dead on his feet, then bring on Hause, move Bennett out there and switch Boly to RCB. If Phil really isn't up to it then start this way. Wouldn't be totally averse to seeing Vini on the right though if Nuno thinks he...

    Middlesboro 1 - 2 Wolves: Verdict

Immense defending. Willy Boly is a superhuman. Unbelievable stuff. Neves' first booking wasn't one. Also think everyone is being harsh on him for the second - looks to me like he slipped (as everyone was doing). Still a booking but he didn't mean to fly in like that. Doherty's second wasn't a...

Wolves 3-1 Burton - Verdict Thread

Think their goal was definitely another that isn't necessarily Ruddy's fault but I'd expect a better keeper to save. I agree Ruddy really isn't a massive upgrade on Ikeme and I'd like to see Norris given a run. Won't happen though.

    Burton build up...

Yup, the team totally picks itself. Hopefully s similar performance too

    Villa 4 - 1 Wolves: Verdict

In all honesty, the two games we've lost recently have been to promotion chasing teams in excellent form. The two draws before that were to a playoff chaser and a last minute equaliser from a goalie mistake. Basically the results are disappointing, but add some context and they are forgivable...

    Reading (H) build up

I'd go for this. I really don't get why Hause doesn't get more games. Every time I've seen him play in the last few years, he's been exceptional, then gets dropped instantly. He can play better football than Batth or Bennett as well as (I think) being a better defender.

Player of the Season so far?

Went Leo. Think that was a decent call at the time but would have to change it to Neves now. The man is a god.

    Villa (A) build up

Totally agree with this. We will need to upgrade on his next season, though I think the fluid front three could be really effective next year.

    Villa (A) build up

People were still suggesting playing Norris last night. Not like Ruddy did anything 'right' yesterday anyway. He had nothing to do, so did nothing wrong, so obviously won't be dropped for the next game.

    Villa (A) build up

Not sure I get why he's tweeted that.

    Leeds 0 Wolves 3 - verdict thread

Excellent all over the park. Boly MOTM for me, Leeds couldn't get past him. Honourable mentions for Doherty and N'Diaye too who I thought were excellent. Leo's confidence in front of goal is shot but he still played okay overall. Link up stuff was good. The difference between his build up and...
