    Newcastle (H) - 11.02.19 - Monday Night Football

Didn't think this was anything like the games against the shite we played earlier in the season. In those games we were dreadful and never looked like scoring, today we should have scored a couple in all honesty, just didn't bring the shooting boots. Never a foul on Dubravka. Appauling from...

Tottenham 1 Wolves 3: The verdict

The arrogance on there is spectacular. If we do reach the heights that this club is aiming for, I hope never to think the way they do. I now look forward to their inevitable capitulation and finishing 5th.

Very surprised to see neither Saiss or Moutihno in the XI but also excited to finally see Dendoncker

Fulham 1-1 Wolves: Boxing Day Verdict Thread

Other than the goal, we didn't really create a really good chance all game, just Jimenez making the best from a couple of situations. That has to be a little disappointing against a team who have conceded so many this season (although I suppose that stat carries less weight now Ranieri has come...

    Newcastle United (A) 09.12.2018

Not sure Tim is right that it's a switch back to 3-4-3. I think Jota might drop in the MGW position? But still, a strange one. This better work Nuno...

    Wolves 2 - 1 Chelsea: The Verdict.

Can't pick out many faults tbh. First half we defended well but were a little sloppy in possession on too many occasions. Second half all round fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. Gibbs-White was brilliant. Nuno's formation tweak worked. Bennett's tackle was phenomenal. Overall, we deserved...

    Chelsea (H) 5.12.2018 7.45pm

Tony's team but with Rui still in goal. I'd play Dendoncker at either RCB or CM if Nuno was willing to pick him, but he clearly isn't for whatever reason.

Cardiff 2 -1 Wolves: The Pantwetting Verdict.

Boly was pretty excellent and Saiss did much better than I feared. Jota was lively enough as a sub. Otherwise, piss. There is a strange desire whenever Traore is on the pitch to simply punt it up field and expect him to beat everyone to it. Costa was terrible today, Jimenez not much better. Our...

    Cardiff City (A) 30.11.2018 7.45pm

I confess to being a little concerned as Saiss was terrible at CB whenever I saw him in preseason, and it's interesting Dendoncker isn't involved at all? But Nuno had to change something and he has, so fair play.

    Wolves 0 - 2 Huddersfield: The Verdict.

I'd say Costa has looked our most dangerous forward player so far this season too tbh. He's been inconsistent and lacked output but most threatening.

    Wolves 0 - 2 Huddersfield: The Verdict.

That was appauling. Out thought and tbh out fought. Cav's first half performance was an absolute crime against football. I feel a little bad for singling him out as several others were very poor but he was next level. Thought Coady did pretty well and Vinagre didn't do too much wrong...

They've stopped looking particuarly dangerous up front recently too. Not a good combination.

Arsenal (A) Stupid kick off Time but not on TV Build-Up 11/11/18

Dendocker for Bennett I think is a must, but I'd also be tempted to move Jonny to the right and play Vinagre on the left. Not because Matt deserves to be dropped but because I'd be scared of him vs Auba. I'd back Jonny a bit more.

Wolves 2 - 3 Spurs: The "where's the VAR" result thread

I still think it was the right decision to move him on, but we really miss Douglas' set pieces. It seemed to happen so often last season that we'd take the lead that way and that would allow us to control the game. Moutinho's deliveries never make me think we're gonna score that way.

    The Blame Game

Boly for the first. Bennett I think for the second, but I'm still not absolutely sure having watched it a few times. Boly again for the third is most culpable for me, but tbh none of the three covered themselves in glory. I'm not totally convinced by Patricio's attempt to save Kane's follow up...

Wolves 2 - 3 Spurs: The "where's the VAR" result thread

I think MGW and Neves is the way forward when chasing a game, and we need the extra runner, but like when Alf started in the champ it will leave the other cm with too much to do sitting alone if it's level/we're ahead.

Wolves 2 - 3 Spurs: The "where's the VAR" result thread

Defending was poor, particuarly Boly and Bennett I thought. Uncharacteristic but think it means Dendoncker starts over Ryan next time out. Such a shame as we controlled so much of the first half and then suddenly we slip up twice and we have to chase, which isn't our strong suit. Excellent...

    Tottenham (H) Build-Up 3/11/18

Spurs are good but tbh I think we've looked good. We've switched off twice and been punished twice. Jonny's one footedness down the left costing us a bit I think. He's got a left but it obviously isn't that good. Doherty miles onside. Doesn't help a team that doesn't score many when decisions...

Costa and Cav in the front three, rest of team unchanged for me. Can see us stealing a draw here.

Brighton 1 v Wolves 0 a disappointing visit to the south coast verdict thread

The formation won't and shouldn't be changed. Tweaked maybe, but the back 3 stays.
