Has anyone mentioned how we are struggling to break a team down that sits deep yet?
I mean I know it's how we play but I still see zero sign of a plan B, Spurs take note just park the bus!!
Traore a real threat today beating players winning corners free kicks and yellow cards. Not sure on the goal but my initial thought was Rui should save it saying that it was a good strike.
Donk looks tidy if unspectacular.
Jiminez and Traore the highlights for us so far we are still in this.
Sorry was trying to type more but everything went blank lol hence the half finished sentence.
Anyway taking the match thread negativity as a separate subject an aspiring side should be constructively critical and strive to improve I believe that is already happening at our club but it's always...
Agreed on some people being an asshole its just not needed and not welcome.
Agreed mostly its a fabulous first season back up here and I would be a fool to say otherwise.
I think in some cases the story gets mixed up. As Darlo I think it was pointed out we tend to fare worse against teams...
I swear people on here don't read people's posts must be too much Christmas ale. I don't see anyone saying I'm the overall picture that we are doing badly quite the contrary. What I do see is suggestion for improvement, which is backed up by our own players (see Saiss interview)
We have done...
I agree on the Matchday thread being very negative but I think I have mentioned before the Wolves anxiety effect and I am fairly certain I am not the only one that suffers from this. It's a good job my old man doesn't post his thoughts on here during match they are almost exclusively negative...
They are in good form but if we are at our best we can at the very least give them a game. Hopefully Jota returns in place of Traore and I imagine Neves will come in for Saiss otherwise I think we will be unchanged.
I am going to be optimistic for once and say we will win 2-1 goals from Jiminez...
The points tally is excellent and I don't think there are many that are unhappy with where we sit in the league table but there is a clear difference in teams that open up and attack and those that sit back. If we are constructively pointing out where performances could improve then it is...
Interesting range of views from yesterday only a few points from me,
1) smaller pitch with a packed defense Traore was always going to struggle, wrong selection from Nuno and an appalling display by Adama. We were instantly better when Cav came on who should have started.
2) We knew we would be...
Dreadful first half we are very lucky it's goalless. Mitrovic easily the stand out player. Traore needs to come off there's no space and his one trick won't work here with them sitting deep. Can on for the 2nd half and a much improved performance needed.
I think we've been decent Doc is playing really well taking advantage of the closer marking on Jiminez and Traore.
I would like to see MGW for Moutinho at some point
Thanks for posting that really enjoyed reading it. I was a massive fan of Foley and really couldn't understand why he fell out of favour so badly. Great to have him back at Wolves.
Hope Jota is ok hes really come into form now. Great result thought Bournemouth looked good and we contained them very well, MGW/Jiminez/Jota in particular looking good but a mention for Otto who did a cracking job stopping Ibe.
MOTM - Jiminez
Saiss has done well since he came in and I think the odd game on the bench might help Neves in the same way it helped Jota. I also want to see MGW in the deep false 9 position again with Jiminez and Jota playing off him, that role just looks perfect for him.
Just a mention for Rui who has had a bit of stick recently. At 1-0 down pulling off an absolute worldie to keep us in it.
Really delighted with last night the balance just looked right, which has been missing in previous games. The combo of Vinny and Jota seemed to work brilliantly and with MGW...
