    Tottenham (H) Build-Up 3/11/18

Doc ambling back when everyone else is marking just not good enough for this level. On the front foot both Otto and Doc nowhere near good enough when presented with space to work. Vinny has to come in now.

Spot on team selection Traore would have been a disaster starting this one. Really hope Cav does the business still think he's a massive player for us.

    General Wolves News

Not sure why Doc felt compelled to cut out meat to get leaner. I'll bet he lost some muscle along with the flab. One thing I am very surprised about us that diet wasnt a key factor prior to the Nuno era. Cramming the right micros in makes a huge difference to recovery, which at that level is...

Hope you are right I would be more than happy with that!

I will be amazed if Traore starts against spurs, I think Jota will come back in for his defensive capabilities & workrate. Personally I would have Cav in there but I don't see that happening either.

Or we just put Otto RWB who I'm sure can cross better and revert the movement. At the same time bringing in Vinny who is excellent crossing with both feet. It's not an agenda against Doc from me but I don't believe he can fulfil the role being currently asked of him. People are seeing him...

Brighton 1 v Wolves 0 a disappointing visit to the south coast verdict thread

We have 2 main problems that need to be addressed for me, 1) we are creating some very nice openings with movement but the players that are then occupying those spaces often can't hit a barn door. Its all well and good to get Doc or Otto making those kinds of runs but if the resulting cross or...

Just on the Costa debate, as far as the IF's go at the moment he is the one who is offering most. Sadly that is a very low bar at the moment as no-one is really doing anything close to enough but from my perspective; Costa - All round game has been gradually improving and whilst he doesn't have...

Errr yes he was, end product in every sense appalling.

Brighton 1 v Wolves 0 a disappointing visit to the south coast verdict thread

Had most of the possession, controlled the game but utterly toothless in the final third. I honestly think it should have been Cav instead of Traore from the start, we didn't utilise his pace at all today and there were some glaring problems that you see more of when he starts ie not tracking...

    Striker Needed ????

2 goals and 5 assists I think it is from Raul, that's more than enough for me so far as our main frontman. Jota, Costa in particular are still finding their feet at this level but they will score goals and its that area where I am more concerned to be honest. Yes a good back up to replace Leo...

Wolves 0 Watford 2; The back down to earth with a bump, Verdict Thread

On the positive I thought Vinny was excellent when he came on gives us a natural left foot and put in some cracking crosses we should have done better with. That's the positives out the way.... Poor all over the park but in fairness Watford tactically set up to nullify Neves and Moutinho and...

2nd best in every department. Credit to Watford they are playing some lovely stuff but we have to improve massively to have any chance of a point here.

    Palace 0-1 Wolves: Verdict Thread

Jota was a mixed bag but definately not awful. His workrate is too notch and he was part of several good moves. On the flip side several dodgy passes giving the ball away and a woeful attempt on goal from a great move. He hasn't fully stepped up yet but he is contributing and far from a...

    Palace 0-1 Wolves: Verdict Thread

Yeah im not sure we could have started much better than we have and to be fair it has given Doc a chance to prove himself and it is starting to look like he can play at this level fairly well, good on him. I would still like to see another WB come in January but with Jonny and Doc doing so well...

    Palace 0-1 Wolves: Verdict Thread

A fabulous result and a professional performance to boot. The conditions were not ideal and both sides struggled at times with moving the ball. Early on Palace dominated possession but didn't really create anything and even when they did we had bodies in front of shots and of course Rui who made...

    Crystal Palace (A) 06.10.2018

First half mostly Palace in possession and whilst there has been plenty of pressure they haven't really cut us open or hurt us in any way. We have countered a few times a great save from Hen on Jimenez and Jota with a woeful shot from a very good opening. That said Jota has been one of our...
