I've been following this story and I'm far from happy with WWFC, over this matter. Seems that all you need is cash! Bugger morals and bugger the supporters.
I thought Holsgrove was terrible. The Doog went on record as saying he was the best centre-half in Division One. Then Ronnie Allen signed a midfielder from Aberdeen called Frank Munro (who wore the number 10 shirt in his first game for us) who became the best centre-half in Division One, without...
And the worst season for managers since Taylor was injured (Gerry, that is).
Great away win.
However, let's not lose sight of the fact that Jackett is a total fuckwitt and must go.
That's what I meant. A total clear out of those that are (apparently) in charge. Having said that, around 50% of the playing staff could also bugger off, too. Low expectations, low standards. We are more like Carlisle than like Chelsea.
Nothing will improve until we have a total clear-out. Even then, nothing is guaranteed. Hang on to your memories of the '50s, 60s and 70s, as it's unlikely we're going to return to those 'dizzy heights' in the near future.
Fuck off, Jackett, Moxey and Thelwell. If this is the best we can do, with the players we have, then something is terribly wrong. Utter crap. I have never been so disinterested since before I first went to a Wolves match in 1967.
I find it amazing (even for the spineless oafs that Morgan and Moxey are) that hapless, clueless, 'Third Division' manager Jackett is still employed by The Wolves. It beggars belief. What the Hell will it take to get rid of him? The 'business' (not 'club') must have a plan. Whatever it is, it's...
I'm sure Jeremy will be a great bench warmer. At least we cannot loan him out to Millwall. I wish the lad well, but my faith in the management of this once-great and proud club is shot to buggery. Expect more of the same shite.
Cheap players + cheap manager = Wolves. It's bloody amazing how low we have sunk. Week after week of 'non-football', signing injured players, signing players to go out on loan, signing players to get splinters in their arses from sitting on the bench, signing sub-standard players, selling...
My hope (as always) is for us to win. However, that's unlikely, so I hope the inevitable loss results in the (obvious/sensible/inevitable/positive) sacking of our hapless Head Coach. I'm not holding my breath, though.
