I see it as needing defensive cover to replace RAN who may be utilised as a forward now.
Jonny and Bueno covering left / Semedo and A.N. Other covering right?
I think even Johnny recognised that he gave a competent performance against Liverpool.
He's (Hodge not Johnny) greener than green, but I'm going to just trust that Lopetegui sees something to encourage him to persist with Hodge. If that's the case, I'm happy to be patient and see how he develops.
Feels to me that Hodge is already earmarked as the heir apparent for Mouts. If we can load the midfield with enough proven talent, I wouldn't be averse to this, particularly as he looks to be developing in the right direction. For years, we've (or at least I've) wanted to see Wolves consistently...
Throw this one away. If we get through without an injury to a key player, that's a win.

It's going to take more than a week in Marbs for him to get over the systematic destruction of his ancestral homeland.
That's assuming that was the root cause of his brainfart last night. I'm more inclined to believe that he had a bad day at the office and will hopefully learn from the...
It wasn't that bad tbh. We just fell back and stopped pressing so it contrasted with what was perhaps our best performance this season in the first half.
We actually could have scored in the 2nd half if Traore was in his playing for a transfer mindset and made the runs he was supposed to.
I have to admit, I'd be a lot more sympathetic to some of the people on here being thin skinned about an emoji if aforementioned group didn't regularly reply in a passive aggressive and condescending manner to any POVs they disagree with. Hardly makes it a welcoming place to new members...
Podence was the difference maker tonight - Villa had no clue what to do with him playing almost in a free role. I think Lopetegui may actually be the first Wolves manager to use Podence correctly.
I didn't think Hodge was terrible - he made several very good passes. Lop clearly sees something...
Today's match showed how good Sa really is. Fantastic performance and looks like a return to the form of last season now that he's playing with actually working ribs. His save from Semedo's brain fart was Murrayesque.
Easily our best keeper of the last 10 years.
I feel more comfortable about things post-Brentford than pre-Brentford.
I also think fake Traore is going to be a pivotal player for us this season. Was really impressed with his fight and energy on Saturday.
