Dawson for me, but not on the list. Without him we have crumbled at times. Massively underrated IMO.
Honourable mentions for Cunha, Kilman, Ait Nouri, Lemina, Sa, Semedo, Gomes who have all done very well.
Scrappy first half but better second half, we should have scored at least 3 and we were back to our best for twenty minutes or so.
Thought Kilman was commanding and Doherty had his best game this season, Toti was a good fill in, and Ait Nouri was showing his flair.
In midfield Lemina looked...
I think if we get relegated prices will have to drop considerably and then you will see a younger type of fanbase.
If it truly a 12% increase as rumoured, they are a total bunch of *****.
Both him and Tawanda added an energy and physique to our game, they were also always looking to bring the ball forward, tho of course we were chasing the game at that point and they were sitting back.
I partly see your point, i just wonder what alternatives we can realistically acquire.
It wasn't as if his mistake was a case of him dribbling out with the ball, it was just a miscontrol ricochet at short distance as he tried to block a cross. In my view, I'm not sure how much you can blame a...
Yes it was a result of his block / close range misclearance, but overall he was commanding and I thought the defence played reasonably considering the ease with which their midfielders and attacking players were running through us 1st half.
Agree with all of that, except about Kilman, though I know he splits opinion.`
I thought he was one of best players yesterday.
For me until the subs came on, we were out-battled in midfield, with Hee-chan and Sarabia offering zilch.
There were spaces in the South Bank but nothing like as bad as the North Bank. I'm not having a dig at the people who attended in that stand or anywhere else, as an individual there is nothing you can do about it.
Anyway I thought non-attending ST holders were included in the official gate?
Worst performance of the season first half, just when you think you can see the quality of the likes of Doyle and Gomes against better opposition, big strong teams like Bournemouth simply blow them away. It was draining and almost disturbing to see just how good they looked against us, and...
Frustratingly I can still see why it was disallowed, although diagrams have shown Fabianski could see the ball when it was headed, there was still a Wolves player in an offside position directly in front of the keeper.
It gives the ref a difficult decision, where he is stuck between a rock and...
I thought he was just offside at the moment Kilman connects, but looks onside a split second later as the full back moves back to his post.
I am fuming as he wasn't going to save it anyway, but can understand why the referee deems him to be obstructing his view, even though I believe he has...
Just got back. Thought we competed well but had no cutting edge at all. As we all knew anyway.
Actually feel sorry for the rest of the team, and for the fans who travelled. Sang their hearts out but for nowt.
Interesting, when you said the golden years of course you are right, it was the 50s.
For me, however, I would say the golden years I experienced have been two key periods - either the period 1972-1977 including great cup runs and a League Cup win, but even that included a relegation followed by...
Yeah I get it that a lot of Wolves forums contain non-locals and I understand your thoughts totally.
I'm sure a lot of locals would also agree with you. Not me, I hate the fuckers with a passion.
