I really don't get why people have such a lack of appreciation about Max..........dominant in the air even when it was like ping pong to our defence for long spells in games, good at breaking forward to create space, reasonably quick and strong in the tackle.
Ok he isn't quite England class...
£37m is not that much in the modern game when you see how much some of these youngsters have been going for.
Again, its just personal opinion, i think we will miss him far more than people think, not for his captaining abilities but for his defensive quality. Hope we manage to get a good enough...
Yeah it is around Great Bridge/Dudley Port. But round Princes End its about 50-50 according to my mates who come from there, then you go into Bradley where its 80% Wolves. 'The Tibby' used to be a bit of a Wolves stronghold in Tipton (around Ivy Road), one mate lived nearby in 'Hawthorne' Road...
Lived most of my younger life in Whitmore Reans (various houses Drummond Street, Austin Street, Staveley Road, Gloucester Street), also Cadle Road in Low Hill, and Inkerman Street, Heath Town before they knocked my flat down. Also lived near Crewe as a youngster for several years. First house I...
Its really difficult - so much contrary advice - balancing the trip of a lifetime against relaxation and enjoyment!
Good advice indeed is not to squeeze to much in. Something like: -
4 nights in London, then travel to Wolves by train 2-5 hours journey then 1 day/night Wolverhampton for the...
I really hope its a good one for you both. I mean that.
Bournemouth invariably only bring a few hundred fans and so its a poor atmosphere. If there's anything we can help with beforehand or on the day, please do ask.
I disagree with Squeak about the airports (just my personal view), personally...
If you want the best matchday experience, then the South bank is the liveliest, as they all stand up in that stand and most of the singing comes from that stand. But it does depend how the game is going. If we score its really good. As he is 11 or 12, standing probably not best option because...
Apparently lots of direct debit cock-ups this morning for the first direct debit instalment.
They have taken for both my season ticket and my son's from my bank account, even though I emailed a mandate form for my my son's renewal season ticket with his bank details several days after I did...
To be clear, I do fully understand why people pack it in, some times it is for finance, sometimes its for health reasons, and sometimes a long journey may just become too much, but yes I totally get that it is on principle too. I am not being judgemental or trying to claim to be a superfan, it...
I didn't say they did pack it in because they couldn't afford it, and I get it that they have declined a ST based on principle.
I merely said that I hoped they didn't pack Wolves in altogether.
I used to hate Moxey when he introduced a ST rate that was far cheaper than non-ST rates. Many...
I'm not one of those who has gone to every game, indeed pre-ST days I always picked and chose, right from my first game in 1969 to present. Those who go to every game religiously during difficult times deserve utmost respect, but I have seen quite a few come and go. It breaks them. I always...
I presume buying match tickets will now involve ringing up rather than being able to view what is available and select your seat.
Unless miraculously Ticketmaster manage to address the glitch :)-.
Its just my view, I realise many don't agree, but I think we will / would miss him far more than some realise. I'm not saying he is perfect CB, but he does a lot of good defensive work for us.
Mind you, as my son often reminds me, my opinion is often bollocks. After watching Raul's 1st game for...
Out of interest, where are most people relocating to? Sorry if its already been asked / answered.
I presume, base on cost, its side stands to end stands?
