Fair. Thanks. I've not been following everything in detail lately (work, life in general...) Thought we had gone for him. I really don't understand what's going on
I want someone who can come in and get us to champions league in a season and a half. But at one point, we take what we can get. It doesn't seem we can attract the likes of what we want, because management has been a bunch of crap decisions and may not be willing to invest money.
I agree with...
Vítor Pereira knows a lot about football. Like, really a lot. He's not a great manager of men, so he may clash with players at points, however. He's definitely a few bars above Lage however. For a short term project, I would take him.
There's been rumours for years that AVB success in Porto was...
Depends a bit. How much money do they have to spend, yearly, vs how much would they actually profit from the sale? How hard is it to sell an EPL club vs a Championship club and what is the price difference?
There's a lot of variables, and pros and cons for both, from a business sense, I assume...
Regarding Fosun, they're probably not investing as they seem to be pulling out of a lot of their assets. Not sure of how we're regarded in their sheets, but it doesn't look very promising:

We might be looking for someone to buy the...
It was SLB yeah.
Doing business with Mendes is like that. It should have been a warning that no club benefits from dealing with him in the long run, but it is what it is. Hopefully we can still turn this around.
Absolutely agreed, on all accounts.
But that's really how Mendes work. Get some good business done, and profit from a bandwagon of crap deals afterwards, with some quality sprinkled in here and there.
To be fair, a lot of the team that got us promoted and then those great results in the EPL was due to a lot of his influence.
But Mendes is only really looking out for Mendes. He doesn't care about Wolves, so long as the money keeps falling in his pockets.
I'm still calm. We just need a good enough manager to coast us to a decent recovery. We won't finish in a great spot, but with decent work, we'll be clear. Keeping Lage was disastrous, but it is salvageable.
The ball is in Fosun's court now.
