I think Tigana's Fulham from 2000/01 are the only other second tier team that might match us in 2017/18. Both were quite clearly a gulf in class ahead of anyone else in the division and immediately settled once they were in the PL.
Keep patting yourself on the back for all your pointless possession, Russell.
Meanwhile it's costing you goals and you're getting relegated. Hair stroking bellend.
Maddison's first was their first touch in the City box and Vicario made some good saves.
They just look brittle though. Remember we should have gone 2-0 up against them.
As I said a week or two ago, there's nowhere near the level of hate (for me) towards O'Neil as there was with other managers. I don't think he's a bad guy and I do think the players like him. We do also have that kind of performance in our locker.
If we'd carried on bumbling along at about...
Ronnie managed to lose to the Hawk from 4-2 up. Think he's very much coming to the end now. Been a serious drop off since the UK last year.
Murphy beat cheating, should have been banned for life bastard Zhao in a decider.
Spurs have thrown away at least three games this season where they were in a ridiculously commanding position in terms of chances and general play and being in front. So it's never over.
I don't actually think this is a very good City squad relative to their best years, too many players either...
Eh?
So if we beat Bournemouth, Everton and Ipswich, but lost to West Ham, you'd be annoyed and want him out? That doesn't make any sense.
He has to get big points in the next 5 games but that's a given. Being as we mentally (as a club, not a fanbase) wrote off a third of the season because...
Think that was more the meme of us being linked with him for about seven windows in a row. He's always been a good striker.
Iwobi was dross for years but ALWAYS scored against us regardless. He's been good for Fulham for a year or more now...and scored again. Not sure what Glasgow is ranting...
Matheus Cunha now very close to 2nd spot in the Wolves PL scorers chart:
Raul Jimenez 40
Steven Fletcher 22
Ruben Neves 21
Matheus Cunha 21
Hwang Hee-Chan 20
Kevin Doyle 18
Diogo Jota 16
Matt Jarvis 15
Absolutely. There's nothing flash in there today but he just breaks up play and keeps the ball effortlessly. You don't have to be Paul Ince bawling at your team mates and throwing in pointless slide tackles.
Ridiculous really that we've had him sat on the bench at all.
He has to learn from how we played today (even in the first half when we weren't very good). Stop the chaos, have a bit of control over games. We have good enough players to do that and it's vital, we simply have to take the sting out of games at times and we did that this afternoon.
