Thanks. We’re seeing a specialist on the Friday, so only really going to be about Thursday night and Friday afternoon and night, so a bar or two and somewhere decent to eat is about all we are after.

Just picking up on this, I’m taking the father in law there on Thursday. Not much for us to do then?

Is that not because there is very few empty business properties? That is certainly the case in Staffordshire. Of course high street retail is going to be a pretty hard to rent out, but high street retail is pretty much dead in itself .

Well surely economic policies are set by society not how well the economy is doing, so I assumed he agreed. So say the economy is booming (which it is) do you expect conservatives (society) to change it’s policies?

I'd say that sums it up 'had to go without at least two essentials such as shelter, food, heat, light, clothing', although I'd say that going without shelter or food on there own would suffice without adding a second.

There are certainly people living in poverty and need more help than they are getting, but £4m? My brother in law is classed as a worker in poverty, but he certainly isn't. Once they sort out the definition properly then they can sort out who really needs the help.

If Brexit wasn't on the table and EU Citizens were still coming over without the uncertainty on their future, then the economy would be doing even better. I'm really not sure it would help homelessness, food banks or workers in poverty (Are they really in poverty?) though.

It's a good job China and India don't measure it's economy based on these measures. As with TT, you seem to be confusing society and the economy.

Isn’t it? Well there is plenty of unfilled jobs out there that aren’t zero hour contracts, so if you’re not happy been on a zero hour contract try applying for them. We own a pub and 5 people are on zero hour contracts and when asked whether they want more hours they all said they were happy...

Even using your ‘credible economic indicators’ GDP is up more than the Euro Zone, although GDP stats are bullshit anyway. Unemployment is extremely low, in fact I’d say it’s at zero percent if you take out those that don’t want to work or are unable to work. You’ll say about zero hours...
