I was referring to the date on the match clip - now corrected !

Yup nailed it. That first half was really something special - we played Liverpool off the park. Even in the 2nd half under pressure we only looked wobbly after they scored in the 86th minute.

As you say Doyle was superb - for one season - after that we saw a dreadful decline where he posed no goal threat at all. Hanhemann was a very effective pickup - for 1 season again. The rest meh. For me, over the 3 seasons, Matt Jarvis was our best player, even winning an England cap. It was...

On my channel I have a playlist which details my favourite Wolves games where I either attended or watched live on TV - indulgent yeah I know but these games are special for me. There isn't one from 2009/10 or one at all from our Premiership stay for 3 seasons, although 2010/11 had a few more...

Today’s update: 2009/10 Season (30 matches) Premier League = 15th. FA Cup = 4th Round. League Cup = 3rd Round. Top Goalscorer = Kevin Doyle (9). Fans' Player Of The Season = Jody Craddock. Players' Player Of The Season = Kevin Doyle. There was a general air of confidence with Wolves...

    Top 20 Wolves Goals: 1990s (1989/90-1998/99)

In a couple of months time I plan to do a goals compilation for Paul Birch. To be honest until the last few weeks, Paul Birch was just a name of a player who played for Wolves in the early-to-mid 1990s (there was no coverage of Wolves in NZ in the 90s) but in the last few weeks it's been...

    Top 20 Wolves Goals: 1990s (1989/90-1998/99): Poll

Yes it is . . . I had goosebumps for a number of the goals. To be honest, apart from the Nuno years, the seasons in the Premier League have been mostly a slog IMO, especially as everything is so weighted towards the Sky 6/7 that it renders the playing field no longer level but at 90 degrees -...

    Top 20 Wolves Goals: 1990s (1989/90-1998/99): Poll

Just nominated my top 20 - bloody hell that was extremely hard. Did anyone notice that with the 43 goals nominated not one came from a game that Wolves lost - quite amazing really. I also had a broad smile on my face with Phil Walder's commentary for Neil Emblen's late late equaliser against...

I think I've set up the poll so it will allow you to change your selections.

To make it easier to view all 43 goals, I've created and uploaded the following video detailing all 43 goals as nominated by the members of The Wolves Forum. Note the video runs for just under 25 minutes. There are some simply fabulous goals to savour.

    Top 20 Wolves Goals: 1990s (1989/90-1998/99): Poll

Poll is scheduled to close at 1am UK time on Wednesday, October 16th. Club house leader at the moment is David Kelly's superb header in the match - Wolves 1-0 Leicester City (FA Cup 5th Round). I hadn't really noticed before that he set it up himself with a terrific dummy just before the half...

    The Wolves Archive

The next 4 seasons - 2009/10 to 2012/13 - are a bit of a black hole. Wolves played 180 competitive games of which I'll be releasing 112. Of the 68 matches missing I have highlights from 28 but YouTube/Premier League block them from being viewed due to copyright. Now I have no issue with that...

    Top 20 Wolves Goals: 1990s (1989/90-1998/99): Poll

Will do my picks probably on Saturday. If you think the 1990s was tough, the 2000s is going to be harder - there's 699 goals to chose from - and I reckon there's going to be quite a few more nominations.
