Total, unadulterated, utter nonsense. In fact a Spanish follower told me in Spain, they complain that the Premier League is so much better than La Liga in terms of VAR. I guess they have the same problem their of fans pretending to watch other leagues. I don't buy for a second you watch enough...

This is an absolutely ridiculous myth, largely spouted by people who only pretend to watch foreign league games. I can absolutely assure you, it is as hated by many abroad as it is here and is absolutely NOT a "Premier League problem" I have supporters from every country with VAR, it is...

Hi Alan https://www.fifa.com/technical/football-technology/football-technologies-and-innovations-at-the-fifa-world-cup-2022/semi-automated-offside-technology I believe PGMOL voted against using this.

Hey mate, the first country I saw VAR used was Portugal, I actually think it came there before it even came here. It was farcical there. I was at Portimonense v Vitoria Guimaraes, Portimonense scored, the ref blew his whistle and went to the monitor, and Guimaraes were given a penalty at the...

Football clubs represent their communities. They were not built for rich people or tourists, they were built to give the working people of the city or town an affordable form of entertainment. I am sure Wolverhampton Wanderers included. This goes for the vast majority of cases in the UK. It is...

100% agree on that, "linesmans call" on offsides can't come in soon enough. You'll have a minority of people moaning, it would make the spectacle so much better though. You could be "level" for years, only since VAR are marginal offsides even a thing.

I won't give up haha, I am very aware I am up against a multi-billion pound industry and the odds are stacked against me. I think you'd be surprised by how many people (and indeed Wolves supporters) would happily scrap VAR though!

Mate, you need to stop telling me I am saying things that I do not say. I was saying that is what is most important to me about football, rather than success or correct decisions for example. I never said it was not compatible with VAR. I was not making a direct comparison. Edit: If change...

I see VAR as daft and flawed. Different perspectives, neither of us are definitively right. For me football is primarily about community and the fan experience. And I'm sure not everyone sees it like that.

A different perspective alters perception. You can think I'm wrong, but you are no more of an authority on football than I am. The laws of football have always been subject to interpretation by referees and fans alike. But you keep attacking if it makes you happy.

Even though developing changes it, staying at your stadium is a great thing. It is VERY hard for anywhere else to feel like "home".

The handball law needs to be simplified and changed. https://www.myfootballfacts.com/premier-league/all-time-premier-league/premier-league-penalty-statistics/ 52 penalties in 2001/2 season, 124 in 2020-2021 season. They keep moving the goalposts. It's one thing I do have sympathy for referees on.

Fans have a massive fondness of that stadium, a bit like i imagine Wolves fans sometimes miss the terraces at your ground of old. The club pay extortionate rent for an out of town hellhole. If they play in the city they'll get nice attendances and maybe establish in the Championship. Were...

How it was, and how it always will be, by the way. Whether you have VAR or not. Edit: It is wrong in your opinion. Not factually wrong.

The standard of League One this season has dipped with no Ipswich or Portsmouth, the championship sides which replaced them are not up to much. I don't mind League One, it's just about affordable and the standard of football is ok. Oxford is the worst away day ever at the moment, out of town...

If VAR has to stay (which I'm against) they MUST introduce a "margin of error". This would be a grey space either side of the line. I am a FIRM believer, if you need lines to tell, it is not offside. We must remember why the offside law was introduced in the first place, it was never to...
