Long time ago, but Taormina (though a bit touristy because of the amphitheatre and Mt. Etna) and Cefalu were pretty nice, as I recall. Thought Agrigento was a dump so stayed in nearby San Leone, which was lovely. Didn't like the look of Palermo.
The only plus point from today was that it's happened before the transfer window closes and Shi/Hobbs still have time to wake up to the fact that we're nowhere good enough to stay in this league without buying a defence. Not holding my breath, though.
All as expected. We looked what we are - a decent mid-table side that with a couple of signings could be a decent top-half side. Lost to two very good goals and a worldie save. Plenty of teams will come away from the Emirates looking a lot worse.
