Tbh I'm not even sure that section of housing comes under the care of Wolves or Staffs council, council housings a nightmare to get into now around here, the majority of stock have been sold off under the right to buy.

I Think as there are children and they were unintentionally made homeless the council have a duty to provide accommodation, probably some shabby hotel untill they find something more permanent.
