Might be controversial but I’d rather play a back two, than Toti in a three.
Bloke literally petrifies me with the ball at his feet.
I guess I’d rather play Andre deeper in a central three and tell him not to cross the halfway line.
As for Doherty, if he plays him…….well, he deserves sacking...
I’m with this team but - if we insist on a four - reluctantly, it has to be Santi and not Toti - the Liverpool press will play havoc with Toti’s inability to pass to a team mate that’s more than four feet away.
I like Doyle too but, obviously, only in a three and not in a central two. His pace...
I’m completely with you on this, I fucking hate it.
All this small-time mentality, “them v us” bullshit doesn’t help us one bit - I’m sick of him making out he’s so hard done by.
All teams outside the top four lose their best players, Gaz - get used to it. And losing Neves and Neto were hardly...
Just back from the game - hit fucking soaked and fucking humiliated in equal measure.
As good as the first half was (Villa were shit, by the way) no football match has ever been won in 45 minutes and it was inevitable we were going to face a different Villa second half.
What I didn’t expect...
We have moments but we were always second best.
Same v Newcastle and we’re going to see it a lot this season.
GON picks weird players in weird positions, using weird formations. His in-game management and decision making is poor.
He can only keep hiding behind these tiny positives for so...
Yeah, maybe.
I wonder what’s inspired Gaz to think it’s a good idea to play Doyle in a midfield two again?
And I’d rather see a kid than Doc at left back, thanks.
Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome.
