The only saving grace maybe that Bournemouth will let us come on to them in the open few mins and then try to pick us off. If we score, the game turns on its head, if they weather whatever storm we brew, they score at least once more.
Shocking first 20 mins. Not a penalty for their first, awful defending for the second and a Sa error for the third. We've huffed and puffed but just not moving it quickly enough or with any real intent. GON shoudl be gone after this regardless of what teh final result is as yet again he has...
The only decision I disagree with is the first penalty. There was no contact from Toti. However, this defensive display is shocking and what makes it worse is that GON has sat on his arse and done nothing to change it. I was done with him after Brentford and this just reaffirms he has no clue...
This might be just a small detail and perhaps picky... but why are all our throw in's thrown above knee height to our player which then takes us a split second longer to control the ball?
First half last week was poor and things ran our way second half... gonna happen every now and then.... but this, on the back of Chelsea second half & Brentford away is just unacceptable. Just shows that GON has no clue on what to do defensively. How the fuck you don't put your two regular...
Well if they looked at it... it was a clear and obvious error to give the penalty because you can only give a penalty if there is a foul and there wasn't one.
More complete b/s as Southampton have their second goal chalked off. I thought it was offside initially but it got the green light.. and then Armstrong is ruled offside after the ball passed behind him.
