Labour do seem to be coming across a bit 'dim' lately. There is nothing wrong with Labour sending volunteers to aid the Democrats but the wording in her (chief of operations) social media posts "we can cover your accommodation'' suggests financial help.
Same for me Kiwi. I always used to say those early 70s sides were the best I've seen and most fun to watch.
Now I think it was the Nuno era, as I've said before that EL season is my favourite ever.
Still grumpy about not veing able to go to the 74 league cup final.
It's all about the money, there was plenty after 3 seasons in the Premier league and with the kudos Nuno had gained, we could and should have given him a pay rise.
Absolute nonsense, one tricky season after 3 brilliant ones, calling for him to go after that is entitled in the extreme, as I said earlier he should have been given at least half a season to see what he'd got. Shi was and is the problem.
You could be right about him having had enough but again if he was struggling then better management from above could have helped him get through that, as you say it all comes back to Shi not being fit for purpose (and a bit of a twat)
That's fair, but I think it was too soon, there were mitigating factors and its not like he fell of a cliff, we had one difficult season where we cruised to a comfortable mid table.
I'd have more understanding of it had there been a succession plan rather than stagger from one calamitous...
Is the 'clear and obvious' mistake still a thing?
If so while people can debate whether the original decision was wrong, its certainly not an obvious error imo.
Thought all the midfielders played well yesterday, obviously it was in a highly pragmatic role but nonetheless they all did a good job.
Hopefully we can go to a 2 man CM for other games (think we'll stick with 3 atb for a while) which means we have cover on the bench when inevitably the starters...
