    Wolves 2-6 Chelsea: Verdict Thread

How many times have we fallen apart at the start of the second half now? Obvious other one was Brighton last season but it feels like we come out at the start of second halves and even if we don't fall apart as in these two we're caught asleep and concede.

It covers up the deficiencies of our defenders rather than suit our better players. The midfield drops deeper leaving Cunha, Hwang and Larsen isolated. Only one of those can carry the ball effectively. Heaven forbid Cunha gets injured, we're back to Lage ball and can't score in an instant.

Nothing we didn't already know, but pretty stark when you actually see it laid bare. Literally one in, one out.

I've long thought because the second goal was *so* good the first against Charlton is overlooked.

23/24 - 31,317 (BHA) 22/23 - 31,178 (Fulham) 19/20 - 31,314 (United) 18/19 - 31,231 (Everton) These are the opening home attendances since promotion. Omitted Spurs in 2021 as that was when the temporary stand had been condemned IIRC and obviously COVID season. The club will know how many...

Imagine. We're really struggling to move Daniel on Jeff. Get the geeks to put together a compilation video of the flicks that come off once a month and don't be stingy on the EuroDance backing track!

Shi has left me completely ambivalent about the club I've followed for 34 years. Not angry anymore, not concerned. Sign players, don't sign them, stay up, go down I'm wildly indifferent. Wolverhampton born and bred, attended hundreds of games, traveled countless thousands of miles on the road...

    Cost of Living

Paying more for lower quality too. Don't know how widely known it is but Sainsbury's are doing phased redundancies of all bakery colleagues so there will no longer be any fresh made bread in stores, it's all going to frozen 'bake off' shite.

O'Neil In, Out and Shaking it all about

Not sure I agree, a poor manager might stumble on something and then revert to type if that goes away. eg. We won 4/5 and SEB scored 4 goals in 5 in 2013 under Saunders. Looked like we might actually survive until SEB got injured and we lose 5 of our final 6 and the rest is history. There's...

That's a relief, I was starting to worry we'd start the season with insufficient trading partners.

If you put quotes by Hobbs* and Sellers side by side I'd imagine they aren't all that different. They're the symptom rather than the disease. *Hobbs has more credit in the bank and less tactics boards.

O'Neil In, Out and Shaking it all about

Shi would push his grandmother in front of a bus if they thought their precious TV money was under threat. I think with people paying stupid money, there will be less patience if things don't go well on the pitch and/or they see the team being let down by transfer policy. I can see O'Neil...

    Wolves History Thread

Remembering we lost 3-1 to Preston early on and the team were clapped off at the end because they left everything out there. That was a proper step change, I'd never seen that much positive recognition for a losing effort at that point.

    Societal collapse?

I'll try posting it on the right thread this time. TT has referenced an area of Derby with a large Reform supporter base (Allenton and Shelton Lock) rumours are the protest is starting there and moving towards Normanton. I live in Shelton Lock and popped to the Post Office earlier and the...

    Societal collapse?

It's what they do, whip everybody up and then throw their hands up and act outraged when people actually act out their headlines. They genuinely use Robinson, Fox and the like as a patsy.
