Not sure what else we can do. We've no forwards. I imagine that's what's pissing Sarabia off.

How many times does Darren Fletcher want to say "Gallowgate End" in this Newcastle game? We get it mate, you know the name of the stand. Not sure if it's sycophancy or just showing off.

Trying to work out what result we want from this one. A draw is the safest bet I suppose. If we're really to challenge for Europe, we need to be winning our own games anyway.

I remember being amazed as he took in-swinging corners from both sides, using his right foot from the left and left foot from the right. Different class.

    The Road To Germany 2024

Edwards rarely got a start during the successful period. Midfield three was usually Allen, Ledley and Ramsey, with Bale just off the striker (Robson-Kanu or Vokes). It worked because of Bale and Ramsey. Those two plus the striker would be the only attacking players in the team.

There's no style. Bale papered the cracks for a good few years after 2016, which will turn out to be an historical high point, unlikely to be matched any time in the next 20 years imv.

Gould and Mike Smith (in the 70s and 90s). Page's win percentage is the lowest since Mark Hughes.

Dan James gutless fraud as ever. I'd have had Danny Ward take a penalty before Dan James. Classic bottler's pen as well - good height for keeper and not far enough in the corner. He looked like he knew he'd miss from the start.

Looked like we were going to get an undeserved victory and then we go and defend like that.

Curle going in on JFH after the penalty in the Leeds game is iconic.

    General Wolves News

My first away game outside of the Midlands was the Palace game where Corica scored two and we ended up winning 3-2 with a Geoff Thomas header. So I'll always irrationally give Corica undue credit that elevates him above Ferguson and Rankine.. and probably Sedgley.

    General Wolves News

Didn't Ipswich play him in defence and we moved him into midfield, only to find he was awful? He gave the ball away all the time, and the whole ground would moan "Sedgley". Then he'd occasionally score Olofinjana style tap-ins and it seemed to justify his position in the team to the manager and...
