We have to hope he has a degree of fitness and some fire left and it's not just Uncle Jorge trying to get a pay day. I don't believe he would fly all this way just to be told to fuck off. I'm sure the players would get on with him so the suitability bit should be ok.
He's probably not what he was, but if he's anywhere near wouldn't we want him as an option off the bench? He'd scare the shit out of defenders, and probably more because he'd flatten them if they fouled him..lol
I've seen some people quoting the "no dickhead" policy at the club. From what i read about the guy he's an amazing team mate. It was just any other player outside the club he had a problem with..:ROFLMAO:
Fair point. At least the club aren't sitting on their hands. Also wasn't he a mad man in the squads he's been in? Like a nailed on red card every few matches? Seem to remember him being a mad head...

Says building his ability and resilience to recover in that link. Which will be fatigue related.
Problem is on the former it's very difficult (as a club) to get the best young players out there, and the step between the U21 and PL is huge. Unless you have someone like Garnacho at Utd then it's really difficult to have a PL ready player at u21 level.
On a positive note our medical team will be very familiar with this injury, and will be confident they can get the player back to match fitness. How long that will take will be a best guess as always. They will probably know more next week.
It's shit luck for the guy and us!
Agreed. Got themselves in great positions today right and left. Just needs the correct pass. That kind of thing comes with confidence and more time together.
Ruben took the guy out after the ref couldn't be arsed to give a foul just before. He was getting frustrated with that shitbox ref, very much like the crowd were.
A win! And the first time i've been for a long while.
Southampton were there for the taking. The space on the right hand side was gaping at times, and they did knock some good balls there. Jonny and Max played outstandingly, Collins not far behind.
Ait Nouri had some good moments, but was out...
