Just read Lemina's post match interview. This pathetic 'Woe is me, I'm so sorry, we're doing everything we can, we deserve better' bullshit needs to stop.
He's directly costing the team time and again this season. How many goals can you chalk up to him now? 6? And even just watching highlights...
I don't know why I did it to myself but I listened to a podcast previewing the weekend fixtures on the Athletic this morning. The 2 'experts' they had on were Nick Miller and our very own Tim Speirs.
At one stage one of them actually described themselves as a 'tactical dunce'. How is that...
TBF it was clear that's what they actually meant, just the usual bullshit from them bragging about something which is nothing to brag about in an attempt to make themselves look better and not realising how it could be taken out of context.
It's been said a lot on here but they really do think...
Thing is, the scaling back would've been palatable if it had been sold the right way. At the end of the day it's their money not ours, if they don't want to run a Premier League club then you can't blame them for seeking a buyer or investor and we've got no devine right to be in this league...
Yeah Wissa is out and apparently Schade has been really poor for them recently so Mbuemo has looked quite isolated.
Brentford will definitely score from at least one set piece though so we've got to score at least 2.
I didn't realise Brentford's set piece coach was Keith Andrews btw!
That's the one thing that riles me the most about O'Neil, everything seems to be so focused on the opponent. Nuno just used to drill our own system into his squad and trust that it would pay off in the long run even if it wasn't perfect for every game.
I still think it'll be a flash in the pan with him, he's taken over someone who was getting the bare minimum out of a very talented squad (sound familiar) and has been some very obvious, straightforward sensible decisions which are getting instant results.
Last night was seriously impressive...
