Playing 3 center halves up until January (at least) is unsustainable purely because we only have 3 fit first team centre halves at the club.
We'll be incredibly lucky if we manage to get all the way through without at least 1 injury or suspension.
There will have to be occasions where we play...
Exactly this. In some ways it's actually easier against a team against City. There's no decision to make, they're going to have long periods of control so you just have to defend well, hang in there and try to find ways to counter. We did all those things fairly well yesterday IMO which was why...
'We're certainly not here to try to take goals away if we don't need to, but we are pretty consistent here and all over the world in terms of how we judge these types of situations. When you have an offside position player so close in front of the goalkeeper, the established understanding on...

The only thing I agree with from that video (apart from the slam dunks of posting freeze frames of the Chelsea/Brentford defending and saying 'This is bad') is when he says we're 'stuck' in the transition from...
It's just a statistical quirk rather than anything telling. Over the last year he averages 0.54 aerial duels won per 90 which puts him in the 24th percentile Vs midfielders in the top 15 leagues (Fbref). Most of that was obviously at Flu who were a very ball dominant side so he wouldn't be...
