New - The things that really annoy you

This’ll sound flippant, it’s not meant to be, it’ll work out fine, you’ve applied they wanted you, or they headhunted you, you’ve got the job, it’s a glitch in the process because you’re outside the norm the HR company is used to dealing with, and now like most if not all of us do you’re...

Gammons will get properly frothy when he tweets his usual stuff re immigrants/refugees and they won’t be able to tell the BBC to sack him, or moan about how much the BBC pays him either. He might be fairly hard to replace as well, respected footballer, makes the presenting look really easy

Lego man haircut usually points out who the twats are, so you can avoid them. Apologies to anyone on here with the same haircut.

    A jolly good read?

Managed to get a cheapish copy of happy odyssey autobiography of Adrian Carton De Wiart, hoping it lives up to the first paragraph of his Wikipedia entry

Is the focus an ecoboom engine with the wet belt? around £1-2k to change depending where you go, they can do between 25-80,000 miles before they need changing, using the wrong grade oil screws them quickly and gets you the engine death rattle because all the belt fibres have clogged the oil pick...

    Southampton (H) 9/11: Build-Up & Match Thread

A 0-0 would be awful, he’d be droning on about being unbeaten in three and a clean sheet, we are turning the corner, confidence is up and we’ve a fortnight or however long to go forward on the training ground etc etc

I know, that’s the depressing thing, hopefully the government is ready this time and blocks him at every try

    Trump

He needs to lose bigly as he’d say, if it’s close he can claim it’s rigged, lose by hundreds of thousands everywhere he can’t do a damn thing, he’ll still try though

I’ll post photos of new bike ruined with racks and stuff later, good job I went through it, front disc rubbing due to wheel not centred, qr skewer on wrong ( can see that in photo), bars not centred in the stem clamp slightly off to one side, no grease on pedal threads or seatpost tube, saddle...

Another new bike! The wiggle bike was a pain when it got a rear puncture, had to take rear derailleur off completely, undo mudguards and rack bottom mounts because from the factory it was a single speed conversion to take gears and the rear wheel came straight out the back rather than down...

New - The things that really annoy you

The ritz in Lincoln high street was an old cinema, had a policy of no tv, no music and 4 huge bookshelves as you walked in the door, with a take one bring one, and yes lots of punters sat inside reading, chatting and people watching the high street, did get rammed on home games day as it’s a ten...
