San Gimignano, is that the village with the 13 towers? If so it’s stunning.

Siena is a good day trip from Florence as well, certainly much nicer than Pisa. Venice is extremely touristy but it is unique and you actually don’t have to walk far out of the main areas to find yourself alone in a piazza.

Gutted about this, always really enjoyed watching him. Not sure how much his penchant for not exactly protecting himself on the field contributed to any of his injury problems but it was part of his appeal.

3 hour drive for me without traffic, often ends up being more. Have always traditionally gone to more away games than home for obvious reasons but that’s changed now getting away tickets isn’t a possibility anymore. How far I’d be willing to travel away would depend on the game and current funds.
