Wow...
Incredible from Pogacar, hard to watch Roglic’s collapse though.
Been a great Tour. Hoping Bennett can win on the Champs today in green though Ewan might have a little too much for him.
The final climb was absolutely mental! Sure it will be a regular fixture now. Roglic just has to get through today really, team looks strong enough to shepherd him through if needs be.
Yeah looked like a real grind right to the top, not clocked it before but apparently it’s often used in the middle of stages (!). Roglic and Pogacar definitely look the strongest, a real shame the Pogacar lost the time in the cross winds as they look inseparable.
I’ve noticed in our office over the last couple of years people talk more and more about football within the context of FF. People want to talk to me a lot about Wolves these days, but it’s usually based around who they should have from us in their fantasy team. Pretty depressing (and boring). I...
Ah Thibaut, can never quite hold it together, although not even close this year.
Been a great race so far and setup to get even better. Roglic looks so strong but Bernal is there and looking comfortable, Quintana looking back to his best, Martin strong, Pogacar maybe the strongest of the lot...
Does anyone have Game Pass? I got rid of Sky Sports last year as couldn't really justify the outlay and I usually watch Redzone anyway which is on Mix so didn't think it would really matter but I notice Sky have now launched a dedicated NFL channel. In case that means no Redzone on Mix anymore...
Very fair point Pad, think Cav’s win ratio would have been lower in this era as so few stages actually given to the pure fast men and now guys like Bennett or Gaviria can get over the lumpier stuff simply because they have to.
Cav has been a bit of a sporting hero for me previously so it pains me to say this but the lad’s essentially stealing a living and has been for a while. Doesn’t even have the top end speed to get involved in low-level sprints let alone win them anymore. Bet he’s still Bahrain’s best paid rider...
No surprises ultimately as both have been miles off the pace but it’ll be a huge disappointment for both of them. Interesting to see what they can do in the Vuelta and Giro.
