Would work for soft pens as well. "Hi Chris, would you like us to queue up the other angles for a quick review?" and if it's a clear pen the ref can just say "no thanks, happy with my on field call".
Puts the onus back on the ref and speeds everything up.
Crap ground.
Crap game.
Crap decision to set up with 4 at the back.
Crap from Toti, Hwang, Bellegarde and Semedo.
Crap substitutions.
Good curry after the game.
In the ground we all half-heartedly cheered and then everyone said "shame he's offside". Pretty much everyone felt he was offside and we were amazed it took so long.
Seeing the stills make it look like a pretty obvious offside by var standards.
Fml, the state of dissecting in the moment match day thread comments 🙈
I hope we don't start dissecting what people say in the ground at games 🤣
Surely the match day thread is, by nature, throw away reactive comments that are probably not going to be made post game with more time for analysis?
For those that don't know, Amazon have a new innovation above the scores that let's you know how many subs a team has remaining.
Kilman played really well tonight. Sarabia played pretty well too.
Thought we were a bit slow and pomderous for most of the game, seemed to take an extra touch all...
Spent the first half chasing shadows, Arsenal are (obvious statement of 2023) miles above us in terms of quality. Their movement is very good and ball movement is exceptional.
Second half they were a bit overly relaxed and we managed to have a bit of the ball, with a nice goal from Cunha...
What if someone is 15.2 cms off? Or 14.8 cms on?
I hate VAR, it is a blight on the game but the only way to fix offsides is to automate. Should have been done this season.
I am, it was a delightful goal and if he finds his feet and starts to impact games then he's going to be a good player for us.
He's still my scapegoat for anything that goes wrong this season though, that can't change this far into the fixtures!
I've recently read "Gone with the Wind" - not sure what I expected (I've not watched the film), but it was superb. I really enjoyed it, even though some of the wording jarred considerably with a modern day perspective.
