One of the worst and one sided referee performances I’ve seen in many a year. Didn’t even try to hide the fact he was doing everything possible to help City win. Then when he thinks they’ve finally got there, he has to go against VAR advice to let them keep the winning goal. Shocking referee &...
The issue for me is Silva backs in to Sa, Sa has to push him away and then he’s not set for the save.
The fact the ref is sent to the screen shows it should probably be disallowed, but the referee would have thrown the ball in our goal given a chance.
Yeah, very undeserved that. In the sense that we deserve something.
VAR check but let’s be honest, the referee has given us absolutely nothing all afternoon. Will be very surprised if they give be this. And it’s Atwell.
Nah - don’t see that getting scrubbed off.
Gomes is absolutely shagged. He hasn’t stopped running, tbf. Unfortunately the only real player we could bring on is Bellegarde & I wouldn’t suggest that at this point.
In fact - have we used all our windows up?
Great news that Nunes has come on. Gets the crowd involved.
No idea why the crowd are getting on the players backs here. First passage of play in about an hour where we’ve had control of the ball and some possession.
The “gerrit forward” section of our fanbase strike again.
He *should* get closed down quicker, but he sort of drifts in between Gomes & JSL - neither of them can quite get there in time. But it’s a full back and he’s on his weak side outside the box. Sometimes you just have to say “good hit, fair enough” and get on with it.
Let’s be honest, Sa could have the best game of his career today & that muppet Gaz will have Johnstone back between the sticks as soon as he’s fit again.
