Not saying it wasn’t as I can’t remember the Gallagher deal other than he seemed over priced/valued at the time, but that would certainly explain the Storer/Clarke shenanigans. All of it is many years ago and pre internet so forgive my lack of detail!
While the 'renegotiation' stinks, we could have done what Blues/Everton did to us with Wayne Clarke/Stuart Storer. At least this way they get decent money and don't lose the lot.
We had three of those four (or the ability to have all four if we hadn't loaned out Yerson on his MLS return) and not once did we even try any two of them in a four. No way is it a good enough quartet for next season. The leader amongst that four is a journeyman CH past his prime - I'd quite...
Opinions. I think we give him the ball in suicide positions defensively when more senior players abdicate responsibility. Rarely does he give it away although granted he’s not pinging 40yd diagonals. When carrying the ball out he may look gangly at times but look how often he breaks the lines...

Direct debit mandates also said first payment would be collected on 28/7/24 so collecting it a month early will have caused some supporters issues and potentially charges for not having sufficient funds in the account. Especially if pay day hasn't been brought forward to the Friday as month end...

Buying a ticket at the Stadio Olimpico is an interesting experience and clearly something they don't do often to 'neutral' daytrippers. To start with the ticket office is nowhere near the ground (well a few hundred yards away anyway) and nothing is signed or made easy.
Barring Barcelona during the summer holiday period, I can't think of any (including Manchester United) who could attract sufficient day trippers to make up for a reduction of 10-20% in their normal regular season ticket holding support. If there are that many empty seats in the ground and no...
