Nope.
That's not how Arsenal do it.

Ah, there is a voice of reason on this forum after all. Arsenal have never let a product of their youth system leave without these clauses written in. Carlos Vela was a well documented one. Hell, they even had a buy back option on Fabregas.
For all those still wondering why we got him? Wonder...
Interesting that Afobe favourited the tweet himself after he left Arsenal. Why would he do that then?

There's no prospect of Newcastle or Norwich signing Afobe in the foreseeable future. Arsenal would simply trigger their £5m buy back clause before that could happen. It’s pretty routine stuff for the big boys to include these clauses in transfer agreements as standard really.
A few mates of...
I just can't see how anybody could be surprised by this performance and result. Results have flattered us so far this season. If Edwards hadn't punched the ball into Blackburns net, and McGregor hadn't dropped the ball into his own net, we would be sitting on one point from 12 which would be an...
He has got a lot to prove this season to be anywhere near what you guys are expecting of him then. So far, he has missed chances that a £15m striker should be taking. Maybe thats why he couldn't get near Arsenals first team?
Thanks darlo. I don't mind getting stick for bringing some balance to the forum. I didn't mind getting slaughtered on Wednesday for having the audacity to warn against under estimating a "dog dirt" QPR either. I never run with the herd, it's how I made my millions.
Yeah, I quite liked that one myself. You should read more of my stuff though cos that's nowhere near the funniest post I wrote this week, never mind this year.
Apologies for the brevity of my posts yesterday, it's not easy for me to type reams of prose when I am at work.
Everybody is entitled to their opinions on Afobes market value. Mine won't change just because I am in the minority. This is the same player we bought just a few months ago for £1m...
I've no idea how much he's worth to Wolves as a player. It's pure speculation as to what he will achieve in his time with us, isn't it?
I would say however that his current market value would be no more than a quarter of World Cup, Euro 2012 and Champions League winning striker Pedro.
