Welcome to Wolves Vitor Pereira

Good coverage, opened the show, took up first 15 minutes or so of show with his interview, in studio analysis of the job he's done and a live chat with Liam Keen at Molineux. All very complimentary about us
Was that Tubes who interviewed him?

I didn't think he was very good at any stage this season, he was actively horrible vs Bournemouth, Everton and Spurs.

Matthew James Doherty is miles better. I mean come on.

If Vitor is to be believed, then he told him there was no space in the squad before the end of the deadline.

So can only assume if he hasn’t been a dick that he is packing in at any reasonable level so rather than take a severance package had decided to just take 6 months off on full pay.

Not sure how true it is but I read there was a huge argument between Dawson, Sa and Lemina.

...there is a space in the squad for him though. I accept he wouldn't have played even more so in hindsight, but there was a squad place. If he was a good professional you'd have him around the training ground. He acted like a dick to get out of both Albion and West Ham, he has form

I went out for dinner with the family a few hours after the Ipswich game and the conversation was very much discussing who we would be facing next season in the championship.
At that time we were toast.
Transformation is humongous, he bombed out those who were destroying the dressing room.
Stopped picking players who simply aren’t good enough.
He’s not done it by being a pragmatist, we’re a decent watch but don’t look like conceding at will.
Getting a tune out of JRB, I’m no Doc fan but having him as a temporary CH has worked to a point. I’m sure he knows it’s not a long term thing it can’t be. Even that highlights how well organised defensively we’re now.
Giving the captaincy to the most level headed player at the club who goes about his business as it should be.
He doesn’t talk about the club like it’s Bournemouth Brentford size.

Fair enough but sure I read that Dawson wasn't keen on the move either, Coady was well up for it

Probably fuming at the way that blubbering arsehole Lage bombed him out the club.
Totally unforgivable to bomb out someone who led the club so well in the way they did.
Even yesterday he was so professional.

We've seen knobs like Paul Jones recognising their old club during games for us like when he did the "Ayatollah"

But Coady despite about 5 mins of songs for him didn't respond, and he waited until every Leicester fan and official had gone in before he acknowledged the South Bank at the end.

Top man.

Big reason we had such a great experience between 2017-2020 was down to Nuno the quality bought in and a big part was the dressing room leadership Coady bought to club.
Can you imagine the antics by Lemina at West Ham or Cunha v Ipswich happening with him here?
Got his England caps with us which was great to see.
Still hurts him he missed the opportunity to walk us out at a cup final at Wembley.
To add he’s the standard I’ll probably measure every forthcoming club captain against. I’ll probably be boring in 25 years saying “he’s not even close to Coady standard”
