Playing on the stereotype that cunt is almost a term of endearment in Australia maybe?
 
Must admit I've always considered regional and national stereotypes to be tongue in cheek, never taken them seriously whether used against me or by me.

Depends what they’re, the treatment of us as fans in Braga was very much based on a “English fans” stereotype. Way over the top police state type stuff and ridiculous ticketing checks at the gate which caused a bottle neck and near crush.

Yep that's unfortunate that our history as football fans is held against us. That's not to say there aren't still some arsewipes that follow our teams around the world and are a pain the arse. Of course there are other nations that are as bad if not worse that don't seem to get the same treatment.

The ref had given softer penalties during the match as well.
 
I actually saw up to 3-1 but turned it off as I have quite frankly had my fill of football with the shambles of a club we support. Turned back in the 89th minute when I saw it was finely poised at 4-4. Lage was losing his shit with his players on the pitch after the FT whistle
