Welcome to Wolves Vitor Pereira

I take on board all of the eloquently put 'negative' takes on where we are on TWF (they're all more probable than thinking VP will save us), but fuck it, I'm excited despite all that.

It's like the optimism at the start of a new season for me now, and I feel more invested in games than I have for weeks. Excited to see a new way of playing take shape (unless it's shit), and wondering who out of the squad that underachieved for GON may blossom with a new man in charge

Probably be resigned to the Championship before January is out, but for now I'll take the mood shift

Yeah me too, even if we lose Sunday (which would be a disaster) I'm interested to see if he can get coherent performances out of us.

That's how I feel. If he can get coherent performances out of us with the players we've got I'll be surprised and absolutely thrilled. Fed up of the shambolic performances since we became 'safe' from relegation last season.

I'm sure can get them to be more organised, it's whether he can do it quickly enough.

Generally impressed with this. I know it's only words, but it's certainly more Nuno than Bruno:

Yeah I just watched the whole presser just now. He comes across calm, measured and knowledgeable. Loads of experience, first impressions are good for me. Just needs to show it on the pitch now, we will see in a few weeks if he can walk the walk as well as talk the talk.

He’s definitely got the right idea. step by step, build a proper way of playing, every game is important. What the players need is calming down for sure.

Whether he’s actually good enough is another thing entirely. He still seems a bit too happy to be here for my liking but rather that than come in managing expectations so he has his excuses ready.

Really well put. I think GON came across as overly 'jumpy' sometimes.

Having said that, GON, for all his faults, has just had an intense 18 months managing in the PL cauldron and working for twats, so VP will seem initially chill in comparison
