Wasn't that a different game? Lost 0-1 under Lage very late on. The 1-2 was in early 2020.

    January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

With Wolfe, he seems very limited so far but there's no point selling at a low right now, leaves us very short on numbers. I'd keep him until the summer and see if at the least we can make our money back. It's a shame as his profile was decent and he looks good internationally, but the...

    Live Match Discussion 2025/26

It wasn't just Chelsea bottling it, as I recall Arsenal had a pretty dodgy pen and there was a questionable red card. Lots of maybes about that Covid period, for us it had a huge effect and there is a clutch of other clubs (Villa, Sheffield United, Tottenham) who it impacted significantly, some...

Wolves 0-0 Newcastle - Verdict thread.

I'm one who does often go for Tchatchoua but yep, he was fine. Defensively solid enough for once, in the first half I thought he did go backwards (again) too much but overall he didn't look out of place, did well. Mosquera was good too and did a lot of driving the ball forwards. Mane tried to...

    The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2025/2026

They don't spend very much. They've sold Olise, Andersen, Eze, and now Guehi in recent windows - all the noises suggest they'll lose Mateta and Wharton in the near future too - and don't bring many players in to replace, so I get the frustrations. They won a cup, got into Europe and now Glasner...

Wolves 6-1 Shrewsbury. FA Cup 3rd Round Verdict Thread.

Gladon at least put his fee back in the local economy with his visits to Penn Tandoori... not sure if Tchatchoua contributes anywhere. But all three of those are good contenders. You could argue Ola John as well although I'd put him above Tchatchoua/Hodge/Gladon, plus it was only a loan.

Wolves 6-1 Shrewsbury. FA Cup 3rd Round Verdict Thread.

Yep, ability is terrible. His mythical pace doesn't exist, especially on the ball. Worse still he can't even do basics, must have only found someone once with a cross all game. There was one moment when Doherty gives him the ball with the intention of a one-two for a run, he ignores him to try...

Wolves 6-1 Shrewsbury. FA Cup 3rd Round Verdict Thread.

Lucky to have got a draw like this, really helpful. Good win, get some confidence in the squad. Shrewsbury are a really bad side, most of their players looked National League level. Means we had lots of opportunity to shine, even Hwang and Arias got a lot of time on the ball and were good. We...

Wolves v Shrewsbury Town (FAC 3)- 10/1 Build Up and Match Thread

Shame about no Lima, worth a try with how bad the other options are. Feels too defensive a line-up against this opposition. Can see us struggling to score and Shrewsbury nicking a goal.

Wouldn't bother with starting Larsen, good chance he's off this window anyway. Need to look at a system which doesn't leave Arokodare completely isolated. Chance to see if we can work something out that plays to his strengths, argue the same for Arias (even if I'm still unsure those exist...)...

Everton 1-1 Wolves - verdict thread

Balance of play, seems fair. We were awful first half and offered nothing at all, pretty lucky to not be 2-0 down. Thought Keane dominated the game for the most part actually, had so many free and easy headers we really struggled against him on attack and defence. Improved a fair amount in...

They've done the interim until the end of the season thing before with Ragnick and it didn't work, and Solskjaer was technically hired on that basis too. They're pretty close to Champions League spots, feels rather premature to write the season off. Amorim is lucky he made it this long, don't...
