Apart from a few who I wouldn't giving a go like Mosquera, Tolu, and Fer Lopez I wouldn't rotate much. Our depth is shit anyway.
Like most matches now I feel like we're rather at the mercy of the opposition. If Chelsea want to we could be in for a thrashing, but as it's the League Cup they may...
I don't think Rodgers is the kind of person who could turn us around, he doesn't do very well in a bad atmosphere and even causes them/makes them worse. Leicester had no business going down the year they dropped IMO and that is mainly on him. Good coach and obviously better than Pereira but he's...
To be honest I don't actually care, I didn't get wound by the winner. It's a lot of apathy.
First half - shite, absolutely awful. Same as Leeds' first goal, we are undone by a very basic long ball. Krejci asleep but to be fair I thought the finish was lovely by Flemming. Second goal is similar...
I predicted a draw originally but I'm starting to think we may lose. If we concede the first goal then the crowd may just turn and we collapse. Morale must be so low in the squad now as well too, hard to see how we turn anything around. I'm very pessimistic.
Thought Johnson and O'Hara were going to be excellent signings (doubt I'm in the minority here)
Thought Doumbia was going to be quality
Thought Collins was an excellent signing
Thought Ikeme was better than Martinez
Thought Coady was rubbish and should be sold when Nuno came in
Once had Karl...
I'll admit I've never seen him play in Brazil but having seen him play for us I think he's shit, I couldn't tell you anything that he's good at. As a fan I find it hard to have any idea of what his best position is when he hasn't shown much sign of being good at anything. We've got a lot of...
It's something I've noticed also and is a shame, but I think there is quite a lot of apathy around the club. You see similar attending in-person, fewer people attend as frequently (myself included) compared to pre-Covid for various reasons.
I don't think Hurzeler has worse players at all, we're a very weak squad. But he has made positive changes to try and change the game and Pereira has been very negative. Difference in coaches is the key here as you say, but we are much worse than Brighton.
Two late equalisers and two very different games.
Last weekend - I get it. Away from home, tough opponent, they were very dangerous going forward and we were on a losing run. I think Pereira's tactics were pretty good to neuter Tottenham and it was just that bit of quality which had us undone...
