    Keir Starmer at it again..

There is probably more diligence at KFC (except for the Gravy). He promised a different kind of politics, either because he is incompetent or untrustworthy he has delivered continuity shit. From the clothes right through to Mandelson there has been a drip, drip, drip whiff around the Labour...

    January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

Isn't this what happened with the transfer to Villa of Tammy Abraham? He was on loan with an option to buy, they triggered it and then sold on. But the reported valuation doesn't make sense, it feels like there's is something else going on here and it isn't just because RE had a cup of tea...

    January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

That's the problem when you bring in potential and it isn't realised. He is 23 now and playing non-league football. What do you do with a player like that except play them in the youth/reserves and loan them out to try and find their level?

    January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

I think it is hard to judge any of the summer signings fairly because collectively they have been so poor it is difficult to know how good they are individually. Wolfe - not incompetent but I have no idea what qualities he has Arias - just not shown anything to suggest he is a Premier League...

We should bring back The Liquidator. Available on a free, crowd will get behind it. Can play in any position.

Wolves 0-0 Newcastle - Verdict thread.

I didn’t leave thinking I never wanted to go back and there have been quite a few games this year when I have felt that way. In a “normal” season this might look like a decent, hard earned point. This season, it is a small part of a redemption arc. Sa, clean sheet…but not worked very hard...

    Trump

Karl Marx did suggest that the "internal contradictions" of the US would eventually lead to the demise of capitalism and the rise of socialism although noted that the diverse population would hinder that process. Trump's white nationalism/supremacy might end up working against him...

    Trump

They wouldn’t do that by deceit, they would be upfront. Vote Vance and Trump for VP and Vance will agree to step down immediately he takes office. The cultists would vote for that.

Everton 1-1 Wolves - verdict thread

I thought we were pretty solid but uninspiring first half, not helped by Hwang, Mane and Arias not being in the game. It certainly wasn’t the sort of Wolves performance of earlier in the season where the game would have been over by half time. Much better 2nd half either way the exception of...

    The Music Thread Strikes Back

I don’t push my own stuff enough but I am pretty pleased with this, particularly as it was my son who took the bare bones of an idea and made it into a song. He takes lead vocal here and he’s made me rather proud.
