Appreciate that may have come across like i’m being a prick and that’s fair, apologies for that. I have no issue with being excited in the second half, it was more the reaction i was hearing after the game that the 1st half had been forgotten and even in the first half the reaction to being 3-0...
Couldn’t get on the site yesterday, still fucked off after Sunday and last nights game has only made it worse. Not sure what i’m most fucked off with, Fosun, Vitor, Vitor’s random team selections and subs, the daytrippers falling for the second half yesterday, it’s just everything.
That first...
Bang on. Still insisting on playing him right wing with his two closest players yesterday being Hoever and Munetsi who we actively try and avoid passing to. Sending him out to fail.
I think this is the reason for the criticism of his performance to be honest rather than his actual output. Against Brighton he had the beating of Dunk and Van Hecke but we really struggle to get it to him in dangerous areas and once we took him off we got completely penned in. For the Arias...
He has to go and quickly if we have any chance of staying up. This squad isn’t as good as last seasons but i still maintain there’s enough in there to stay up with a competent manager especially with January still there and a chance to add some pace going forward. Even with all that we can only...
In this league i would say yes, he could play as the 10 like he did in the West Ham cup game when we went 2 up top but he’s more industrious than the flair you would want there long term.
I think quite a few were because he was sort of billed as that. It’s hard to expect more when he’s basically been being played out of position in a new league for a team that has no style of play.
He’s being chronically misused and our fans who had never seen him play thought we were getting a ball carrying Cunha replacement. Just leading to unrealistic expectations for him.
He’s not a winger, he’s not a wide midfielder in this league. He has to play inside in a 3 or slightly more...
Well I’m used to following us everywhere and losing now but yesterday was another level of shit.
Started when i saw the team and Doc somehow was back in at right back and Arias was still playing on the right and Munetsi was playing anywhere.
Got worse at the start of the game when half the away...
Yeah the Agbadou sub was not the reason we were on the back foot or conceded in isolation. What needed to happen if you’re going to make that sub is get Munetsi and Arias closer to Larsen and get the wingbacks higher. We could have gone a bit longer then, turned Brighton round and played in...
I think the assessment of Jackson is quite strange to be honest because i thought today was by far the best we’ve seen him overall. Made plenty of clearances especially in the air and his 1v1 defending against Minteh was very good as it had to be in second half.
There’s obviously a caveat to...
I just don’t think there’s any defending how deep we dropped in that second half and the absolutely no chance you can defend taking off your striker at the time he did and not bringing the one you paid over £20m for. All proven by the fact that we then made attacking changes once they equalised...
The thing for me with Munetsi is Joao should be the one doing those things with winning the most duels, most tackles, most fouls won etc… and then we can play Arias in there with Joao and Andre and we don’t need a runner especially against the “weaker teams”. I do genuinely think the league is...
