What a watch PSG are. Not sure football can be played any better than the approach they have had since January. Relentlessly on the front foot, organised but with freedom and players who want to carry the ball.
He’s my favourite player in our squad right now. As good as Neves/Moutinho in his own way and wouldn’t be surprised if he can’t do it over a longer period and be looked at in a similar way to them because the best clubs in the world want him.
Stats so far back this up, 39 shots, 26 on target and 9 goals. Arguably missed 2 of his easiest chances this season too against Forest and Newcastle. Keep giving him the service he got on Saturday and he will consistently score goals.
Another poor game of football but points on the board are the main objective at the moment especially when we’re having to play players that many don’t rate out of position and then replace them with Sarabia and Guedes who i think put in one of the worst sub appearances ever.
Andre immense...
Lads got 7 goals in his debut season for a side not performing. Came into a new quicker faster league and acquitted his self well until he was ran into the ground and then he picked up his knock. Was absolutely fine on Saturday, no clue where the idea has come from others that he wasn’t and then...
Should have been a good move for him too. His crossing seemed to be something that was a strength in his appearances here and Mallorca cross the ball more than pretty much every side in La Liga. Not worked though and don’t see where he goes from here.
It’s a red card by the laws of the game now and that is why VAR got involved and ask Salisbury to have another look. It is a clear and obvious error when the laws state that challenge has to be a red. Getting a touch on the ball including bouncing off it don’t affect the decision it’s all about...
Actually thought they were a lot louder than they usually are when we go there. Still not great for their position and a lot of fans leaving well before the end but definitely louder than it usually is.
Very true it’s definitely a mix of things that all kill the atmosphere. That away end would have been seething usually after that first half but it was just pockets of fans and even then i think a lot of the regular fans have lost that edge too. It’s sad really.
