The end result of players feigning injury as a form of "game management" (see also: Chelsea, FA Cup). Fans can see it, and the ref completely f'd up handling the situation. Not great for Xavi though.
/shudder. That half was special.
The longer this goes on, the more desperate Spurs will become. I mean, if you can't beat Wolves on demand, you're probably deservedly getting relegated. This will be their best chance at 3 points and they know it.
They're so bad, aren't they! Joao might be the only player I'd want to retain. The rest of them are somewhere between bad and awful. New contract for Doherty anyone?
The gap between the bottom two and the rest is pretty big. Just started watching and our only semi-accurate passes are back passes. But only one team with an incentive to win, I guess.
Just keep playing the bums that got us relegated. They'll turn in some more half-arsed efforts but it makes no difference now. Then we can hopefully draw a line, tear in all down, and start over.
“People should understand that we are very ambitious. We are not content with just staying in the league, and we are not content with just being a mid-table club.” - Jeff Shi, July 2025
