I think it’s great to see as when you strip everything back, they are just people at the end of the day.
All well and good doing it now, issue is if and when we go on a poor run, will he still be able to, as unfortunately a lot of people are morons.
I don’t personally have an issue with it...
I think we’re all expecting Cunha to go, then potentially another, and favourite seems to be RAN.
Although a small sample size, without Cunha we’ve looked ok. As in if Cunha goes it doesn’t mean alarm bells were going down.
Amazing what a manager can do to a team ey
It’s also very rare for a team in our situation, or any who are mid/low mid table to have a full/wing back great offensively and defensively.
No issues with him personally
Depending on how Lima is developing and how we see Rodrigo in future I’d be inclined to give semedo same wage 2 year deal.
He’s rarely injured, seems a good pro and he’s easily a mid table full back/wing back IMV. If he goes, it’s on a free, so not missing out on a fee. Yes, maybe it’s too...
Sure they would if Isak hadn’t played the last 4 games.
If Cunha had started last 4 games then naturally yes. They will still plan around him playing, but also if he weren’t to play, as per our last 4 games
O 100% I’m not disputing that. I was also in the camp of it not being a necessary signing.
My point was more about people being wise after the event.
I’d be suprised if anyone thought at start of season that with 7 games left bottom 3
Would be done, for example.
Ironically at start of season when we signed many comments were ‘why have we signed another cm’ and ‘good player but don’t need him’ and ‘more pressing matters’
Goes to show again hindsight etc
Whilst we would’ve been likely down without Cunha, we would’ve struggled as well with no Andre and...
I understand that. Well, you're assuming that’s why the agent requested that price. Based on current situation.
That can change if there’s a big falling out, as although that’s a release clause, I’m
Not sure Jeff would dig his heels in that much if Cunha had basically gone on strike.
It’s...
Fair point.
What I’m getting at is the release clause. You’d think clubs will always try and get a player as cheap as possible. Not playing him, based on a decision made by us, rather than him would likely piss him off, and potentially lead to a club coming in under that.
Granted, we don’t...
