Keir Starmer at it again..

Given how simple and how right it seems to the ideologically pure left I’m truly baffled that they’ve never got into government.

When you think Natalie Elphicke is a good move for the Labour party I think it's you that needs to a little self analysis?

I don’t think it was a good move, but equally I don’t think it really matters.

The ideological pure are desperate for any reason to not vote labour. That’s fine, George Galloway is there for you.

It's not "ideologically pure" to not be happy Elphicke has joined the Labour Party, there's no need to be so confrontational.

Also, I voted for Starmer as leader and will vote for him in the GE, that doesn't mean I can just blindly agree with everything he does?

You're similar in some ways to those Fosun sychophants who criticise Wolves fans who aren't happy with aspects of the way Wolves are run.

"You should go and support them lot down the road"...

Starmer tells Elphicke to do one - RWP say Labour is no Broad church. Don’t vote for them they only like their people.

Starmer accepts Elphicke and here comes all the shit on her to say Starmer is a shit judge of character.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if her Damascene conversion was all a Tory plot as it’s the political kobiyashi maru for Starmer.

One for the Trekkies there

You have a lot to say without saying much. You are just a troll with an undercurrent of unpleasant. That’s fine, George Galloway is there for you too.

Have a read back of the thread, it’s continually just the same 4 or 5 posters complaining that Starmer is shit, a fake etc etc.

The political downside of this move was always potentially bigger than the upside and that's exactly as it's turned out
I said earlier in the week what I'd have done as for me the ethics trumps the politics, but if you buy into the reasons why he accepted her then nothing has really changed. For the people it was aimed at her crossing the House was a major news story, her being a scumbag isn't, it won't appear on their radar, it was done for the casual observer who'll see it on the news or hear it on the radio, not the Sunday Times reader
